Jörg Landwehr
I am a BD&L and market analytics professional with over 30 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, having acquired in-depth experience in the areas of research, competitor analysis, revenue forecasting, project valuation, market analysis and business development & licensing.
Since 2014 I have worked as Managing Partner at ActeaVentures GmbH, a BD&L advisory firm for life science projects.
I previously served 6 years as Head of BD&L at PharmaMar (Madrid, Spain), a leading European biotech company focusing on the discovery, development, and commercialization of marine-derived anticancer compounds.
Prior to my assignment at PharmaMar, I worked for 14 years at Hoffmann-La Roche (Basel, Switzerland), initially in R&D roles before joining Roche’s Strategic Marketing Group, being there responsible for all revenue forecasting, project valuation, market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics for Herceptin, one of Roche’s premium brands and major business drivers.
I received my PhD for research carried out at the University Hospital Basel (Switzerland) where my work in molecular endocrinology focused on the cloning and characterization of a novel insulin-like growth factor binding protein. Before my PhD studies, I graduated from the University of Freiburg (Germany) with a degree in cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics.
